This 1966 Ford F250 Camper Special survivor is for sale in our Atlanta showroom. The F250 was Fords workhorse of the bunch. Built for the working class and used primarily as work/fleet vehicles and there are not many of these 5th generation ¾ ton trucks left. This example is a 3-owner truck with most of its life spent as an electrician's work truck, and still has the utility cap and bed mat. The consignor bought in 2000, and had the top end of the 362 V-8 rebuilt, utilizing new guides and seals. She still has the 3 on the tree manual transmission, showing 182,830-miles. This is what we call a true survivor, and is still in the original paint and hub caps, as well as the original tailgate that's been off while she has the cap on.We were quite surprised to see how clean she was under the bed mat, as it's been covered since new! Did we mention she's a survivor?? You can take this truck and drive it as she is, restore to her former glory, or go a head and make her what you'd like her to be. You just don't find em like this often. Options on 1966 Ford F250 include, Am Radio, seat belts.
