The Business Coupe was designed for a business man, which is why it is also referred to a Business Man-s Coupe. There was no back seat, which provided plenty of trunk space for a traveling salesman. Powering this 39- Plymouth is a Flathead 6 cylinder engine that is mated to a 3 speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt about 10 years ago, and are believed to be original to the car. The car was repainted during the complete restoration 10 years ago, and the black exterior paint shows very well. The tan interior also shows very well, as it shows minimal signs of wear and tear.
