1969 Mercury Marauder

These big Mercury Marauders are very uncommon, never mind X-100s. With only 5635 built in 1969 the X-100 was the top of the line variant for the Marauder. This big coup is full of swagger and packs the X-100 standard 429 big block topped with a 4-barrel carb and spinning a three-speed automatic. The 429 has been blessed with an increase in displacement thanks to a. 40 over bore when it was rebuilt. These big V8s were good for 360 hp and 480lbs/ft of torque! This car is finished in menacing black over black vinyl interior with a center console. The car is well equipped with cold AC, power steering, brakes, and windows. Everything is in working order. The car also has an aftermarket AM/F M radio with CD along with the factory original still in the dash. A Marauder was Mercury's unique take on the growing personal Luxury coupe segment.
