This 79- Continental is finished in bright white exterior with white vinyl upholstery covering the back quarter of the roof. The paint is believed to be original, and still shines very well. Blue leather interior matches the exterior perfectly, and is in good condition, free from major signs of wear and tear. Powering this 79- Collector Series is a 400 CID V8 engine, while a 3 speed automatic transmission transfers power to the pavement. The Lincoln Continental is a luxury car that was produced by Lincoln for 49 years between 1939 and 2002, and was brought back for the 2017 model year. Between 1939 and 1948 production was halted during WWII, the Continental was then retired until 1958. Production resumed in 58- and continued until 1981, a Continental was not offered in 1981, but was available in 1982, and until 2002. Lincoln brought the Continental back for the 2017 model year, hopefully it is here for the long run once again.
