1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V
View Description
The 1979 Mark V was the last personal luxury car built on a full-size platform. The Collector Series was distinguished from all other examples of the Mark V by its lack of opera windows, and was produced in four colors Midnight Blue Moondust Metallic, White, Diamond Blue Moondust Metallic (shared with the Diamond Jubilee Edition), and Light Silver Moondust Metallic.
These Lincolns are well known for being great cruisers and were loaded with many high-end luxury features for their time. The Collector series cars were feature-laden when it came to luxury options, as they came with every available feature as standard equipment. Only four options were available for the Collector Series: a power moonroof, 40-channel CB radio, 'Sure-Track' anti-lock brakes, and a plush Kashmir velour interior (in lieu of leather).
This Mark V is powered by a solid 400 CID V8 which is backed by smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission, making it the choice for those long cruises. A nearly new set of P235/75R15 Hankook Optimo radials provide a comfortable ride and have plenty of life left in them.
The Midnight Blue Moondust Metallic paint is in great condition and shines like a sapphire in the sun. Inside, you'll find that...
