In-house at Ford Motor Company headquarters in Dearborn, they officially called the second generation of the F-Series light trucks the 'Triple Economy 'line, but it's doubtful that any of its legions of admirers use that moniker. These trucks, built from 1953 to 1956, are beloved by their fans for their dramatic styling. POWERTRAIN.
The engine now installed in this F100 is the famed 5. 0-liter H. O. V-8 sourced from a Fox-body Ford Mustang GT.
