This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 went through a complete documented ground up restoration back in 1999 but stills shows very well for its age. The restoration included the complete drive line, body, interior, brakes, and suspension. This 1973 Ford Mach 1 is powered by a 351 Cleveland V8 engine with 2v Heads, backed by a FMX 3-speed automatic transmission, running to a Ford 9' rear end with 2:73 gears, which make it great for highway driving. The engine, transmission, and rear end are not numbers matching, but came out of a donor 1973 Mustang Grande and have only 10,000 miles since being rebuilt. The engine was professionally rebuilt being bored. 030 over, completely balanced with Roller Rocker Arms, TRW Forged Pistons, Heads were Ported and Polished, Edelbrock RPM Intake, Cam, and Lifters, Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburetor, Headman Ceramic Coated Headers running to awesome sounding dual Flowmaster Exhaust, with dyno readings at roughly 425 Horsepower at the flywheel! The transmission was completely rebuilt with a mild shift kit and a 2,500 rpm TCI stall converter installed.
