This beautiful '68 drop top has been beautifully restored from top to bottom. The car was from the Southern US and the body was in great shape prior to restoration. The undercarriage has been steam cleaned, epoxy primered, and painted with truck bed coating. The body has been painted with PPG Deltron white basecoat clear coat paint. GT stripes have been added and cleared. The trunk is finished in splatter paint and features a space saver spare. Under the hood is a 351 Windsor with a roller cam and heavy duty internals with fresh rings and gaskets. It features a double roller timing chain with Comp Cams Thumper roller camshaft as well as new roller lifters and pushrods with 1993 Cobra R roller rockers. The heads are GT40 three bar heads with new valves, valve guide seals and springs as well as new freeze plugs with ARP head studs.
