The Ford Mustang was an icon of the 1960s and as it transitioned into the following decade many Mustang enthusiasts believe it truly peaked in style and muscle. The 69-70 Fastback body style was unique in its styling and, as Mustang buyers had come to expect, was offered in several trim levels and drivetrain choices. Near the top of these choices was the Mach 1 and the 390 engine. This 1969 example is finished in candy apple red and looks quite handsome with it's decals, rear window louvers, spoiler and the shaker hood let's you know there's something menacing beneath.
