The C1 Corvette is where it all started. For starters, the first Corvettes were originally powered by an inline 6 engine, known as the 'Blue Flame'. 1955 saw the first year of V8 muscle, which would forever stay a signature feature for Corvettes. By '56 the C1's rocket-like taillights were gone and redesigned to fit smoothly into the body. In '58 the quad headlights were introduced. 1960 was the last year to feature the heavy grill teeth, and the final year before the introduction of the circle taillight rear end. The 2nd generation of Corvette is arguably one of the most desired body styles built to this day. In 1967 only 22,940 cars were produced that year. Of that 8,504 1967 Corvette Coupes and 14,436 Convertibles were produced. Even fewer came with the 427 CID Big Block V8, this example even has the Tripower 3x2 carburetor/intake set up. This monster of an engine was factory rated at 435HP and is mated to a Muncie M-22 'Rock-crusher' 4-speed manual transmission. According to the owner of this beast, the engine was rebuilt in 2022. Walking around this '67 Stingray, one should notice the Lyndale Blue metallic gloss paint that is offset with a black center stripe down the Big Block hood. Adding to the curb appeal is a replaced black manual soft top, dual side exhaust pipes, pop up headlights, chrome bumpers, 427 badging, and 15' Rally styled alloy wheels wrapped in white letter...

The 1962 model year saw the introduction of the potent 327 CID V8 to the Corvette's last year of the 1st generation of this venerable American sports car. The 327 helped the 'Vette up its ante against the rest of the sports car world, making it a true force to be reckoned with on the road. This example spent a great deal of time in the shop of 'Corvette Mike', in Anaheim, CA, and they clearly took pride in their work. The exterior is a gorgeous Ermine White, and the interior is done in (factory) Fawn synthetic leather and matching carpet. And, while it looks awesome (and very original), its looks are hiding some tasteful and appropriate upgrades. The original engine has been supplanted with a professionally built 355 CID V8, now sporting Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and intake, a big Holley 4BBL carb, and is backed by a professionally built 4-speed manual transmission. A massive aluminum radiator replaced the original and is kept cool by the addition of both and electric fan and aluminum flex fan. Coated exhaust manifolds feed into a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers, and together with the more potent V8, work to provide that vintage...
