1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

Referred to by GM as 'The King of the Hill,' these ZR1s were amazing Machines in 1990 and still are even by today's standards. The beating heat of the ZR1 is a 375 horsepower LT-5 V8. This dual overhead cam, four valve per cylinder V8 was developed with help from Lotus and assembled by Mercury Marine. Until this time, all Corvettes were pushrod V8s, and even after the ZR1, all modern Vettes are pushrod engines. Backing this beautiful power plant is a 6 speed manual transmission. With this combination, the car is good for a top speed of 180 MPH and a 0-60 time just above 4 seconds. This particular example, with only 42,650 miles on the odometer, is just getting broken in.
