It only had one owner who bought it brand new from Behlmann GMC Trucks in Florissant, Missouri and always kept it garaged and never drove it in snow or salt. The next owner of this emerging classic will inherit the Original Owner's Brochure, Window Sticker, and Owner's Manual.

Nearly three decades are their sister company, Chevrolet, started producing the El Camino, GMC came out with a rear-wheel-drive coupe utility/pick up called the Sprint, which in 1978 was renamed Caballero for the 1978. 1987 was the final production year of the Caballero. This particular Amarillo trim was originally called Laredo and was the luxury trimline of this coupe utility truck.
