Always a legend, the Chevrolet Corvette has been an American Sportscar staple since 1953. Always following the basic guidelines of being a 2-seater coupe, with a fiberglass body, the only thing needed to make this car better is a powerful V8 under the hood. In fact, this one comes jam packed with a well-tuned L81 V8, smallblock Chevy 350 making 190 horsepower. This may not sound like a lot when compared to todays cars, but if you take into consideration how incredibly light the 81 Corvette is, and back it up to the tried and true Turbo Hydramatic 3-speed transmission, these cars can really move. The year is 1981, Ronald Reagan inaugurated as the 40th President of the United States of America, MTV (Music Television) is launched August 1st and this blue all original, numbers matching Corvette rolls into showrooms for the first time. Since then she has only accumulated 61,000 miles. Still runs and drives like she did in -81.

The third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels. It introduced monikers that were later revived, such as LT-1, ZR1, Z07 and Collector Edition. In 1978, the Corvette's 25th anniversary was celebrated with a two-tone Silver Anniversary Edition and an Indy Pace Car replica edition of the C3. This was also the first time that a Corvette was used as a Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500.

The current owner has made many upgrades and tastefully restored this Corvette. It is now powered by a 350 CID V8 engine that came out of a 1987 Corvette mated to the stock automatic transmission. The owner went a step further to remove the injection system and take this car back to a more desired set up with a new Holley carburetor and intake. The car has also had its interior redone and was repainted in a custom metallic blue. Notable upgrades the have also been switched and upgraded include; major A/C components replaced, new glass for the windshield and doors, the rear end and suspension have been rebuilt and upgraded, new master cylinder for the brake system, new calipers and rotors as well, tires were recently changed with tons of tread left, power steering pump and hoses are all newer, and so much more!
