Gateway Classic Cars is proud to digitally present this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.
As cars in the 50's and the 60's became larger and larger, a more practical and affordable car was needed due to changing government guidelines and gas pricing. The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced for this reason and was is a smaller mid-sized automobile from the larger predecessors. Chevrolet produced the Chevelle in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years as part of the General Motors A-body platform and the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. Body styles included coupes, sedans, convertibles, and station wagons. The "Super Sport" versions were produced up to the 1973 model year.
This Chevelle SS Resto-mod is a wonderful example of 1970's hot rod. Painted in a high gloss Blue Metallic with the iconic white stripes along the trunk and hood. This car is powered by a chromed out ZZ454 Crate Engine V8 and mated to a Tremec 5 speed Manual Transmission. On the interior you'll notice the newer custom bucket seating up front wrapped in a white metallic leather as well as the rear bench. Also, the upgraded AM/FM/CD mounted in the truck doesn't clash with the 70's dash. Could you see this in your garage? Don't pass up this wonderful 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Resto-mod and call today!
