1966 Ford Thunderbird was the last year of the 4th generation of Thunderbird and was designed with the space race in mind. Jet age style and function was the mood of the country and this car is a great representative of this era. The Thunderbird Special Landau was introduced in the Spring of 1965, and differed from the regular Landau due to its unique combination of interior and exterior colors, as well as differences in trim. All Special Landau models were equipped with a Special Parchment-colored vinyl roof, and a matching interior.

This Thunderbird comes with a nice running optional larger 428-cubic-inch (7.0 L) V-8 and providing a notable improvement and nice smooth automatic and is ready for any cruise night.

From the huge thunderbird emblem in the front grill, the side rear cursive thunderbird and the thunderbird emblems in the vinyl top, almost everyone will know it's a Thunderbird.

The interior features abound in this model with bold stitching in the front bucket seats and the wrap around lounge style rear seats is quite reminiscent of a Las Vegas lounge. Spacey side tilting steering wheel and airplane style gauges and sequential turn signals bring an air of aeronautic nostalgia.
