In that time, he updated modified, or repaired many of the areas that begin to need attention after 70+ years of service. This Sleek 1947 Fastback sports a 350 V8 in place of the old 216ci straight six, backed by an automatic transmission. This allows for leisurely modern cruising and decent pickup for when passing is needed. It has an updated 60s era Chevy rear end, Mustang II front steering (power) front disk brakes, coil over shocks and working vintage air AC. This car is built to be a driver and presents well. It isn't perfect but what 70-year-old car is? It is ready to cruise or even be daily driven in a pinch. All while turning heads and bringing smiles. It has the right amount of patina, style and flare to be a nice addition to any garage; restore or drive as is!
