The five-speed automatic offers a three-mode manumatic function, just as it does in the SL55, but with such an abundance of muscle, augmented by quick throttle response, it seems superfluous. When the driver wishes to summon haste, they only need to tramp on the pedal and the V-12 will mash them against the seatback in a flash. Speaking of seats, this vehicle comes with quality leather/vented seating capable of heating or cooling you and your passenger to the desired temperature. Need more air besides the seats? Simply flick a switch and the hard-top is tucked away quickly, making those bright sunny days just a tad bit more enjoyable.
