“VATS” or “Vehicle Anti-Theft System” was a simple but effective addition to the existing alarm system. Another advancement of the 1986 model year involved the introduction of the first anti-lock braking system to the Chevrolet Corvette. Under the hood we have a 350 cubic inch, 230 horsepower engine backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Clean black paint pairs beautifully with the cherry red leather seats.
