2007 Hummer H3

Finally trimming down from the H1 and H2 we all remember these H3s became the epitome of a utilitarian SUV. Today most of the SUVs available are glorified econoboxs. While that’s what some people want, the H3 politely declines to conform to the usual expectations.

This vehicle is in great condition inside and out. The more you look the more obvious it becomes the vehicle was cared for. The paint is in great shape and rock chips are difficult to find or spot even under bright lighting. The interior smells great and shows little wear. The driver seat shows the most creasing primarily on the lefthand bolster.

For those that want to be able to ford through 27 inches of water at 5mph, this is the vehicle for you! These vehicles borrowed their foundation from the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado respectively. The engines and transmissions are very similar between he two but the similarities stop there. According to some reports the parts in common are only about 10%.

This Hummer H3 comes with a two speed, electronically controlled full-time four-wheel drive system. This is a highly relevant and capable platform that can still be daily driven with ease. Again and most importantly these are not the ridiculously wide vehicle we remember from the H2. This has a roomy but cozy cabin and the overall width of the vehicle is 5 inches narrower than a full size GM pickup from the same era.

The engine is a Vortec in-line 5 cylinder which is a reliable engine overshadowed by the LS big brother. The transmission is a 5 speed automatic. The interior is a familiar mixture of mid 2000s GM with a few unique Hummer touches. Despite the small windows and design the blind spots are favorable for such a large vehicle.
