Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1980 MG B! Her highness is wearing a fantastic color combination and has the optional overdriven 4 speed transmission!
The odometer read just under 30,000 miles, and the seller believes it is the actual mileage although no supporting documentation is included to prove that claim. The car presents very well and does not have and obvious flaws inside, outside, or underneath.
The 1800cc engine sounds great and the car is very fun to drive! The car wears a local dealer badge 'Oliver C Joseph.' This dealership was established in 1914 and recently sold, and allegedly this was the second to last car ordered through Oliver C Joseph's British vehicle side of the business. This likely means the car lived a humble and protected Midwestern life.
Sure the winters here can be a bit more harsh, but proper owners don't let their vehicles see those elements. Given the odometer reading and original 'feel' of the car we are pretty confident this is a well-cared for and preserved piece of British automotive history!
These cars are a relatively inexpensive entry into the classic car market and provide more smiles per mile that just about any car. Sure, speed is great. When it comes to the race track speed is king, however on the open policed road its more about fun. A great man once roughly said there are few things more fun than driving a slow car fast!
This 1980 MG B is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! GatewayClassicCars.com
