Under the hood is a blue printed and balanced 468 CID V8 engine and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission built by J&J transmissions. The drivetrain was built professionally with performance in mind. The 468 was built by R&R Engines in Addison, IL. It is a 454 CID V8 bored .030 over, 4-bolt mains, Manley pistons, Competition Cams solid lifter camshaft, Crane roller rocker arms, Cloyes true roller chain and gears, and ported cylinder heads and intake manifold. This build was far from cheap, using only premium parts. The list goes on and on. The transmission also has some goodies: Coan 11" pro street torque convertor, Lokar shifter and cables, GM corporate 10" posi-traction rear-end with 3.70 gears. The fun doesn't stop here, the body and interior are well worked over as well. The interior is custom by Addison Interiors. The body was striped to bare metal and restored correctly. The exterior is painted Black Cherry with ghost flames. The front end is from a Camaro with power disc brakes. Other options include: AC, AM/FM radio, CD player, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power seats, power windows, tilt wheel, traction control, seat belts, leather, aluminum/alloy wheels and radial tires. While the AC is in action, the aluminum Walker radiator keeps everything nice and cool.
