A period-correct 455 CID big block “Rocket V8" that made around 370hp and a monstrous 510 lb ft of torque from the factory is planted under the fiberglass hood of this car, which features a functional air scoops and a low restriction air cleaner. This hood was 18lbs lighter than the steel version and the engine included an aluminum intake which shed even more weight. The W-30 package added other visible performance parts too such as the numbers-matching Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission with the Hurst dual-gate shifter. The drive train itself was completely rebuilt on this car in 2014 with around 1,500 miles driven since. The red-front inner fenders are a dead W-30 giveaway, as well as factory power front disc brakes. This 442 Olds is painted in Gold Nugget and comes with a matching gold vinyl interior with bucket seats.
