Ford sold over 820,000 model 48’s in 1936 vaulting it past Chevrolet for that year. Fords combination of price and good looks really sealed the deal in the marketplace for 1936. The Model 48 was available as coupe, roadster ,sedan, station wagon and even a pick -up. This one is a four door sedan with plenty of room for friends and family. Finished in a Bright Blue Metallic with a Grey durable cloth interior. This sedan has been slightly modified, originally only available with a flathead V-8 this one has been updated to a 351 Windsor V-8 mated to a C-4 automatic transmission. And a Ford 8” rear end installed with parallel leaf springs, new gas tank, all new glass, new interior, and Air Conditioning . Also has a Lokar shifter with a full length console with a 4 cup holder, also featuring a fold down rear seat and a AM/FM/Bluetooth compatible stereo.
