Under the hood is a Ford 5.0L HO V8, which has an Edelbrock AVS2 carb with an Edelbrock Performer Z89 polished aluminum intake, shorty headers feeding into a dual exhaust, MSD-boosted ignition, and newly added Vintage Air system. The 302 has a mild cam, so it's not too finicky to drive regularly, and behind the 5.0L is a 4-speed Ford AOD automatic transmission, which is controlled by the Lokar shifter.
