This particular truck was built in the old Leeds Chevrolet plant in Kansas City and was sold new from Ferrel Chevrolet in Platte City, MO. as a Cab & Chassis truck. This 3800 had spent its entire life with the same family in MO. and then was taken down to bare metal & completely restored, both cosmetically & mechanically, in 1997 before it was sold to the current owner over 10 years ago. There is also an entire photo folder full of restoration photos that will be transferred to the lucky new owner. Powered by the original 235 CID Inline 6-cylinder engine & the 4-speed manual transmission, this restored 1956 Chevrolet 3800 is a thing of beauty! Could you just imagine driving through town in a truck like this with your company logo on the doors, or the look on your father's face when you pull up in the exact type of truck he worked out of as a youngster!
