Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is excited to present this 1937 Chevrolet Sedan. The original 1937 Sedan was designed to compete directly with Ford and Plymouth's entry line models, and with a staggering 80 HP these cars were real performers in there day. But one thing is for sure, this car is not your grandfather's Chevy. The bright red paint looks sweet and certainly shows off the angular design that was considered cutting edge in the era. Inside invites you in through the suicide doors to the leather seating areas, tilt steering, billet accessories, Autometer gauges, a cold blowing A/C & an AM/FM/CD system. Under the hood is a nicely dressed 350 CID that is running the power out through a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission into a 10-bolt rear end & some 2.73 gears, making for some really nice cruising at low RPM's. Front discs with slotted/cross drilled rotors, power steering, power brakes and newer bushings are keeping the enjoyment factor high & the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with newer rubber are keeping the stance down low! This 1937 Sedan is summer cruise ready just as she sits, or has the right start of a ride that can be easily taken to the next level.
