The Jeep Wagoneer is a luxury 4x4 produced and marketed under Jeep under successive automakers from 1962 to 1991. The truck has been repainted in a bright white with a cabin that features recently reupholstered Honey leather seating surfaces with fabric inserts and a matching dashboard, door panels, and high-pile carpets. Amenities include Jeep-branded floor mats, woodgrain trim, an AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, power-adjustable front seats, fold up rear seats and a cargo cover. An improved handling package was introduced in 1985 that incorporated a revised front sway bar, gas-filled shock absorbers, and lower friction rear springs. Factory 15” gold-accented wheels feature Jeep hubcaps and wear 30x9.5r15 B.F. Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features a woodgrain horn button and frames a 100-mph speedometer and two combination gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge level. The carbureted 360CID V8 was rated at 144 horsepower and 280lb-ft of torque when new and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case. A total of 17,814 Grand Wagoneers were built for 1985, only adding to the collectability, so if you’re looking for a sharp example of America’s favorite SUV this is the one you want to own!
