Gateway classic cars of Nashville digitally presents to you this 1933 Chrysler Coupe. Remember Mom in the kitchen never measuring anything, just some of this, a little of that and a smidge of the other. By the way, how much is a smidge? And when it hit the table, it tasted great. This 1933 Chrysler is much like that, except, don't taste it. This epic car started as a 1933 Chrysler coupe, painted a light cream that I believe is a primer this sleek body is ready to drive or, paint any color you like. Powering this beauty is a Desoto Fire dome 361 cubic inch Hemi engine that has the right go fast goodies inside and bolted to the engine itself. The builder tells me the Desoto Fire dome has a solid lift cam that as you can tell by the video has a very nice thump. The intake has a slight high rise to it and is topped with a Quick fuel double pumper 4-barrel carburetor and the firedome just begs for more. The transmission of choice 727 torque flight that has TCI marking on it. A Ford 9-inch rear axle was used and attached to the frame with ladder bars to hold it in place. Hair pins for the old school front suspension with solid axle and 4 wheel power disc brakes to provide enough whoa for all this go. If you are looking for a shinny coat of paint , A/C , leather interior and an engine that is laboring to run with a cam with a power range of 6,500 to 10,000 then this is not your car. On the other hand, if you are looking for a car that will reward you in spades for a little work and has so many unique parts with a smidge of Hemi engine then stop looking and start dialing, this one will not last long. Options for this 1933 Chrysler include: Power brakes, tilt steering wheel and vinyl interior. Mom would be proud of this recipe.
