1968 Dodge Charger

Whew, ok, the black paint on this sinister Charger is clear, deep and still looks wet, but let's face it, what most people see at first glance is the big BDS blower sticking out of the hood! The Blower is attached to the big block 440 cubic inch engine that is filled to the brim with the good stuff, enough cam to need the stall which feels like it grabs at 2,500RPM and sends the power to the 727 3 speed automatic transmission that is controlled by the B&M shifter that moves the car through the gears via a manual valve body. All this power and torque is then sent to the 8 ¾ sure grip rear diff that houses 3.55 ring and pinion. Wilwood brakes help hold the horses back with discs on all four corners. The stance is sweet with what looks to be 3 inch drop in the rear and staggard rims sizes 18 up front and 20 in the rear. I had a blast driving this car and in doing this write up and notice not one mention of Dominic Toretto or the fast and the furious,, Darn, almost made it. Think of this, of all the cars and stars of that movies and dumb quotes like “.. not double clutching, like you should.." the Charger is what everyone remembers, this car is unforgettable!
