The 1968 model was redesigned in a sleeker more aerodynamic coke-bottle design. Taking a big chunk of the muscle car market in 1968 with an optional 440 Magnum V-8 engine under the hood pumping out 375 horse power. The 1968 Charger was an immediate hit with an appearance in the cult film "Bullitt". Demand for the Charger in 1968 beat expectations by three-fold with over 96,000 units sold.

This 1968 Dodge Charger is painted bright red with black Bumble Bee stripes wrapping the deck lid and quarter panels. Tinted windows and a set of American Racing chrome wheels mounted on a BF Goodrich raised white letter tires give the Charger an aggressive look. The sporty black vinyl interior consists of front bucket seats with center console and an updated digital dash. Under the hood of this beauty is a 440 Magnum V-8 attached to a

four-speed manual transmission. Special engine features include Hooker Super Competition Headers, MSD electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. Additionally, four-wheel power disk brakes have been added so one can safely stop this muscle car beast.
