Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. A mid-engine sports car manufactured by General Motors from 1983-1988. Unbelievably, it was the first mid-engine automobile to be produced by an American manufacturer. The Fiero was also the first two-seater to be built by Pontiac since 1926. Technologies such as composite body panels and integrated speakers mounted in the headrests set the Fiero apart from the competition.
This 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT is painted in Flame Red accented with factory set of gold spider-spoke alloy wheels. The custom hand-made black/red leather seats have the Fiero emblem stitched into headrests. Custom Fiero floormats and dash pad are nice show quality upgrades. Appearance upgrades include "Snapperhead Performance" engine compartment show mirrors, side mirror bra covers, full car cover, spare tire cover, trunk show cover and "Mechcum Performance" fiberglass side scoops. Under the hood of this beauty is a 2.8 V-6 upgraded with a "Hypertech Street Runner" performance chip. Other upgrades include a Holley throttle body, K@N performance induction true cold intake, West coast Fiero strut brace, and a MSD performance cap and rotor. All attached to a Getrag five-speed manual transmission.
Other interesting features on this Fiero GT are high-heat red brake calipers, "Cat-Back" exhaust, Koni performance shocks/ struts, urethane suspension bushing, and a Billit dress up aluminum thermostat housing cover/ oil cap cover/ egr valve cover. This Fiero GT also comes with a removable glass sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, rear defogger, and an AM/FM/ cd radio.
