Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass W-31. The Oldsmobile Cutlass was produced by General Motors from 1961-1999. Through the generations the Cutlass went through many variations including compact, mid-size and personal luxury models among its six generations. This third generation Cutlass was manufactured from 1968-1972. This 1970 Cutlass is a rare car with only 1145 built with the W-31 option. The W-31 consisted of taking a 350 V-8 and adding some high-performance upgrades. The option package included a Force-Air Induction system, a special air cleaner and an aluminum intake manifold. Sending power through a 3.91:1 performance rear axle and an anti-spin differential. Other interesting features on the W-31 included a heavy-duty clutch, four-speed manual transmission, manual front disk brakes, and light weight body insulation. The exterior is a standout with a dual-intake hood, special stripe package, and W-31 emblems.
This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass is painted in Midnight Metallic Blue with a black vinyl roof and matching "W-31" graphic stripe package. Factory chrome five-spoke wheels mounted on a set of Firestone Wide Oval raised white letter tires makes this W-31 a real eye catcher. The black vinyl interior sports bucket seats and a floor console. Added features include power steering, factory AM radio, owners -manual, and seatbelts.
