Starting life as a trim package on the Chevrolet Chevelle, finally becoming a stand-alone model in 1978. This 1979 Malibu is a fourth -generation model offered in two trim levels and three body styles including a two-door, four-door, and wagon.
This 1979 Chevrolet Malibu is grandma's car in disguise. Under the hood is a 350ci V-8 hooked up to 150 shot nitrous. Added engine features include a 350 Holley carb with electric choke, 1969 Camaro 2.02 heads, and an electric fuel pump. All attached to a Moser three-speed automatic transmission. The car is painted in beige with a saddle vinyl interior. Added features include a Glass Tek hood, power steering, power brakes, aftermarket oil, water, nitrous and tach gauges, air conditioning and an AM/FM/cd radio.
