Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is proud to present this 1956 Chevy 150. Chevrolet took their brand and image to new heights in the mid 1950's with the debut of the 1955 Chevy line up. The top-of-the-line Bel Air, 210, 150 and Nomad wagon were an immediate success and for the 3 years that mark the “Tri-Five" Chevys an automotive and cultural phenomenon was born! Not only were the Tri-Five Chevys a success in styling, capitulating the GM everyman brand into the space age, but these were the first cars Chevy ever offered with a V-8 engine. The popularity on the Tri-Five Chevy is still soaring over 60 years later.
Our featured Chevy is a 150 model and has all the charm and nostalgia you would expect from a mid-century masterpiece but with many upgrades. The 150 is finished is a beautiful contrasting lipstick red and snow-white paint that shows with brilliant luster and complimented by a black vinyl interior. The vehicle is powered by a strong 383ci Stroker V8 engine paired to a 4-speed transmission linked to a Hurst shifter with the quintessential Hurst Cue Ball and a 4:10 rear end. Other features include power steering and brakes, a tilt steering column, seat belts, Sun Pro gauges, a roll bar and fuel cell. The car is sitting on Mickey Thompson tires, 26X6.00 R15 LT in front and 31X18.00 R15 LT in the rear matched to Weld Racing brand 5-spoke 15" rims.
Hit the road in an American classic and iconic as baseball and apple pie in the stunning '56 Chevy!
