Over the years it has been sold as a two-door notchback coupe, two-door liftback and convertible models. Our Celica is a fourth- generation model that was produced from 1985-1989. An all-new model that went from rear-wheel drive to front wheel drive with a new 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine. The body took on a new look of a more rounded flowing appearance. The convertible models were fitted with top conversions by ASC after shipment from Japan. The conversion consisted of reinforcements to the body, reconfigured rear quarter windows and a one-piece fold down rear seat.
This 1989 Toyota Celica GT convertible is painted in light blue with a dark blue cloth convertible top. Alloy wheels, dual sport mirrors and hidden headlights are added outside features. The interior is finished gray velour bucket seating with a center console. Under the hood is the 2.0 four-cylinder engine attached to three-speed automatic transmission. Added comfort features include air conditioning, AM/FM/cassette radio, power convertible top, parade boot, tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows, power mirrors, power steering and power brakes.
