Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1973 Plymouth Duster. The Plymouth Duster was marketed from 1970-1976. Designed as a sporty model to compete with the Ford Maverick and the AMC Hornet. The Duster offered many trim packages including Feather Duster, Gold Duster, Silver Duster, Space Duster, Duster Twister, Duster 340, and Duster 360. Each trim package was designed to fit the many needs of their customer base.
The 1973 Duster had many design changes including a new hood, front fenders, bumpers and taillights. New power-assist single -piston slider- type disk brakes were installed on the Duster 340 as standard equipment. Electronic ignition also became standard in 1973. Our 1973 Duster is a gorgeous restoration painted in a gleaming candy red paint scheme. The interior has been redone in black vinyl with a “one of a kind" manual sunroof. Under the hood is a rebuilt 340 attached to a 727 Torque Flite automatic transmission mounted to a Cheetah shifter. All powered to an 8 ¾ 391 gear ratio rear end. The 340 engine is equipped with a Comp Cam, Barry Grant carburetor, ceramic headers and MSD ignition.
Other options include Flow Masters Exhaust, after market gauges, alarm system and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio. This 1973 Plymouth Duster is a fine example of early 1970's muscle. Don't miss out on this extraordinary build.
