The 911 was introduced and marketed in 1964 through 1975 as a 2+2 high performance rear engine sports car. This SC carries the air cooled 3.0 flat six producing 180hp / 175lb-ft riding on a torsion bar rear suspension. The flat six is mated to a Type 915 5 speed suspension. Weighing in at 2667lb with vented discs all the way around as the SC is capable of a top speed of 140mph with a 6250 Redline. At the steering end there is an unassisted rack and pinion steering with 255 55 R16 in the front and 205 50 R16's in the rear with plenty of rubber.
This SC was originally Petrol Blue per the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and has been resprayed as original Petrol Blue with newly reupholstered front driver and passenger seats. It carries Fuchs 16" 5 Spoke Black wheels with brushed Aluminum outer rim with Porsche Crest center caps. Included with the car is 2 sets of keys, A Certificate of Authenticity, Original Porsche Tool Kit / Bag.
The iconic 911 Profile is easily recognizable and appreciated by a wide of enthusiasts coming with a wide powerband and progressive compliance of the torsion bar suspension making long distance driving a pleasure.
