Starting in 1967 along with its cousin from Chevy the duo worked hard to push back against the success of the Mustang by Ford Motor Company. Of all the cars involved in the Pony Car Wars of the late 60s those were the main three. For 35 years the Firebird would grace the roads of America until its heart-breaking end in 2002.
