Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk! Studebaker has an extremely rich heritage dating back well into 17-1800s building wagons. It wasn't until a little past the first decade into the turn of the 1900s when they started producing automobiles. Studebaker had a great run but pushing into the 60s they were in trouble as sales were declining. The Hawk line had been in development for a few years and was one of their more iconic and successful cars but just couldn't compete with the big 3's numbers (GM, Ford, & Chrysler). The Gran Turismo Hawk was unveiled in 1962 at the top of the Studebaker line but would only see production until 1964. Here we have a '64 model. You can't help but fall for this car, the lines of a Hawk are timeless! The cream white paint looks good and the red and white vinyl interior is in good order. Under the hood is a 289ci V8 mated to a T-10 4-speed manual transmission! Car comes with splash panels, 3 manuals and car has hill hold brakes. Current owner has had her for over 2 years, acquired from a private party. Title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Don't miss out on your chance to have one of the most iconic Studebakers made and in its final year, the Gran Turismo Hawk! Options on this Hawk include: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, AM Radio, and White Wall Bias Ply Tires. This 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
