With unleaded gas becoming the standard and smog regulation's tightening, there were an increasing number of hurdles for the big three to jump through. This would also explain the reason that would mean the end for the Vette. Boy was they ever wrong, as the nameplate is still going strong, with only a minor interruption in 1983. This '70 now has a stinger style hood, usually reserved for big block Vettes, it really finishes off the exterior look. With the simple turn of the key the later model 350 small block Chevy engines comes alive and you can tell you have very nice running stingray. Mated to the 350 engine is a turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission. Take the T tops off and you will be ready to cruise on that next spring day.
