Being built on Ford's Fox platform, it is commonly referred to as the Fox-body Mustang. It evolved through a number of sub-models, trim levels, and drivetrain combinations during its production life. In 1993, Ford switched to cast hypereutectic pistons for all 302 cu in engines and also re-rated the GT to 205 hp and 275 ft?lb of torque. This estimate was more accurate given the previous power ratings were made before the addition of the mass air flow system, minor revisions in the camshaft profile, and other various small changes made throughout the production run. This example is one of the nicer ones you will find. The paint is a very nice Ford Electric Red in nice driver quality condition. A few scratches here and there that could be cut and buffed out with the right hands. The 5.0L motor in this car runs fantastic and sounds amazing. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and gives this car a real sports car feel. The interior is in great condition and is as comfortable as you can get in a Fox Body Mustang.
