This generation of Bronco saw the model receive a styling update, although mechanically, it was largely similar to its predecessor. The standard 4.9L inline six engine was used until 1994, while the 4.9L and 5.8L V8 options remained. Trims levels included XLT and Eddie Bauer editions. Production of the fifth generation lasted until 1996 when the model was discontinued. The Bronco name was put on hiatus until a new Sixth Generation Bronco was announced for the 2021 model year. This Bronco is equipped with the 5.8 liter V8 and automatic transmission. It has air conditioning, AM/FM radio, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, power brakes, power locks, power steering, power windows and a tilt steering wheel. A back up camera has also been upfitted to the aftermarket radio. Being the Eddie Bauer edition, it has power seats with leather seat covering. This Bronco is ready to cruise the back roads or rip the top off and post up at the lake.
