In stunning black on black we have this 1956 Ford F-100. With 55,150 miles this black beauty is a clean example of an early F series, a series that would go on to become the top-selling vehicle of all time. Powered by the 223-inch OHV six-cylinder that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission, this thing is a blast from the past. It has also received a complete repaint to give a fresh look. Starting in 1953 Ford decided their post war trucks were going to need to evolve and evolve they did. No particularly in what they could haul but how they rode and felt. Designed to be more “driver oriented" than the trucks of the past, these were made to give it a more passenger car like feel. Given a much larger cab they also give the riders more room to move about.
