Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this 1946 Dodge Pickup. In 1939 Dodge presented a completely new designed line of pickups and trucks. Dodge trucks were often referred to as the "W Series" from 1941 through 1947, these trucks then became mostly known as the Dodge Job-Rated trucks. This truck received a restoration in 2020 at Kevin's auto restoration and repair and was giving the suspension and drivetrain from a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The truck is powered by the iconic Oldsmobile Rocket 350CID V8 linked up to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Some noticeable features under the hood include the polished Edlebrock air cleaner, polished Erson valve covers and alternator. This 1946 Dodge WC pickup is finished in black over a maroon interior and was the subject of a custom build completed during previous ownership. The cab features a bench seat upholstered in maroon and black cloth and vinyl accompanied by matching door panel and trim treatments. Interior features include AM/FM radio, air conditioning, cruise control, power window and power brakes. The classic wood grain three spoke steering wheel mounted to a tilt column frames the 120 mph speedometer along with battery voltage, fuel level, oil pressure and water temperature gauges that are mounted within a brushed metal fascia. We think that the Dodge Brothers would approve!
