1969 Chevrolet C10

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this menacing black 1969 Chevrolet C10. The C10 was Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2002. A new, more modern look came in 1967 for the second generation of C10, along with a new nickname: "Action Line". It was with this revision of the C/K series truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. In 1968, the 283 cu in V8 was replaced with a 307 cu in, and a 310 hp 396 cubic inch V8 was offered for the first time. Fortunately, this is the big block truck powered by the mighty 396 CID V8 engine. Backing the behemoth engine is a stout GM TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The big block has been enhanced with a billet air cleaner housing, billet valve covers, an aluminum intake with Edelbrock 4BBL carb, and coated Hedman headers with dual exhaust system. Additional upgrades include a giant aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, spray in bedliner, and fuel fill relocated to the bed of the truck. The black interior has been updated with a newer-style cloth bench seat that has headrests and vinyl trim, plus a tilt steering column that's topped by a billet aluminum steering wheel. Add in a retro-style AM/FM radio with MP3 capabilities and some Infinity speakers, and you have a truck that's just as ready to rock as it is to roll!
