Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this sharp 1977 Chevrolet Camaro. The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced by Chevrolet from 1970 through the 1981 model years, and was a newly designed car, while still utilizing the basic mechanical layout familiar and engineered much like its predecessor using a unibody structure utilizided a front subframe, A-arm and coil spring front suspension, and rear leaf springs. Dubbed the "Super Hugger", the chassis and suspension of the second generation were refined in both performance and comfort, GM engineers have said the second generation is much more of "A Driver's Car" than its predecessor. Putting power to the ground through a set of 15” American Racing wheels wrapped in radial tires is a healthy 350 C.I.D. V/8 and is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood the motor has been dressed up nicely with an Edelbrock intake, polished valve covers, radiator cover, air cleaner, and mid length headers. Look inside and you’ll find a very impressive interior. The high back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl to match the dash and door panels. Notable features include power steering, power windows, and power brakes with disc in the front. If you are looking for something to take out and drive the tires off or even something to add to a collection, this Camaro is the car for you!
