The Plymouth P8 was totally restyled for 1939, and it was longer, lower and wider, it got a plow-shaped front end, a deeply vee’d two-piece windshield and unique rectangular headlamps were now mounted within the fenders. Some immediately apparent features of this Plymouth are the classic wide white wall tires, a truly unique wood dash and suicide doors, adding to ascetics of these timeless classics. This P8 has been updated with power steering, power brakes front disk brakes, a 12v alternator system and newer coil suspension to make for a very comfy weekend cruiser. The inline 6-cylinder engine is mated to a manual, “3 on the tree” style transmission. A banging sound system with a Pioneer AM/FM/Bluetooth flip out head unit, new speakers and a trunk mounted subwoofer has been added, in addition to the factory AM radio remaining in the dash.
