Ok lets cut to the chase: This one is like jewelry. Someone put a lot of time and money into making this 'lil guy into the gorgeous pint-size machine it is today. One could stare at the engine compartment all day and just smile. The now fuel-injected 4-banger is tied to a 4-speed manual and will put a smile on your face while others give thumbs up. It's beautiful! This low mile example boasts only 10,847 miles on the clock, adding to the desirability and better assuring years of fun left to enjoy. The fine restoration seals the deal. The current owner indicates he is the second, and has enjoyed it for 7 years. The paint is of high, smooth quality, and the exterior is very well detailed. A car to be proud of, for sure.
So why this car? Well, it is beautiful and it is FUN! Is is a car? A toy? A go-cart? A bit of all, we say. And as neat as the newer Mini's are, this is a real-deal original style Mini, and boy does it stand out. It's actually quite nice inside with leather seating, and an AM/FM/CD radio. This particular car is left-hand drive, so easy for us 'Yanks to hop in and not freak out because the steering wheel is on the wrong (right?) side. It's a little pricey, but if you want a really nice one (and want save yourself the grief and expense of trying to duplicate it), this is one you should consider.
