Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this attractive and elegant 1947 MG TC Roadster. In the world of sportscars no genre has the cult following quite like British roadsters and among this class the long line of MGs stand out the most. Following the conclusion of WWII MG came out swinging with the TC. While it was mechanically similar to it’s predecessor, the TB, it got many mechanical improvements such as a higher compression ratio, hydraulically adjusted timing chain tensioner and a 12 volt electrical system. This particular example is quite handsome in its Ivory and Green paint with color coordinated wire wheels. As you walk around this vehicle you’ll notice nice details such as the rear mounted spare, bold front grill and fenders that sweep into running boards. The interior is nicely appointed in green leather and features right hand drive just as it would in England. Under the bonnet is a 1250 cc inline 4 cylinder which was factory rated at 54.5 horsepower. With it’s close ratio 4 speed manual imagine how this car can get up and go! If you’re in the market for a classic sports car to zip around the country in this is the one you want to own! Options include manual top, leather interior, seat belts and wire wheels.
