Under the hood is Pontiacs tough, cast-iron 350 V8, paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. While it's no GTO, the slightly-enhanced 350 makes more than enough power to propel this good looking machine around, and sounds great doing it thanks to the dual exhaust.
